Re: Do we really need Trophies!???

Well.... ....Very interesting thread and quite dear to my heart :D I gave up on club racing years ago, well on the mainstream 1/32 racing scene anyway. I would still like to go to the local Toowoomba club but time constraints make this difficult to achieve (they run a good mix of Plafit and plastic ...

Re: Where are the NSR's on the OUTHOUSE??

Mmmm, I say go for it NSR!!! I love their stuff, its well made, runs well, the Porsche 917K is simply beautiful.... The cost of them is too high for me to have them all, but Jake and I have a pair of Mosler Evos that we regularly lock horns with and a MKIV and 917K that we do the same with. A far be...

Re: SCX Cuda

Hi Buzzard, Its an RX-42B (red stamping on top of motor as opposed to black stamp on bottom). The runner arrived from Cincy Slots in the mail yesterday, we set the track up last night and gave it a really good workout... ....I think everyone will be happy with this model, it handles beautifully and ...

Re: SCX Cuda

They are excellent models!!!

My pair arrived today from Cincy Slots, absolutely awesome finish, best I've seen from SCX so far...

I'll be getting another over as a "Runner" in the next week or so, am looking forward to giving it some serious track time.

Re: Aussie V8's $$$$$$$$??????????

Mmmm,

I think they go just fine on the track Phil!!!

As for me, if Scalextric make them I will buy them, I've done pretty nicely indeed out of this series of model (enjoyment factor + dollar value for my collection)...

...Thank you Mr. Scalextric!!!!

Re: 'Slotcar of the Decade'

G'day Guys, Slot car of the decade is without a doubt the Slot.it. Mazda 787B!!! I ran my Renown livery this morning, 2.8 out of the box on Scaley Sport with mag, a bit ho hum, sanded and taped the tyres, 2.2 seconds.... Thats tuned Scaley F1 territory, very fast, handles nice, looks awesome, great ...

Re: A trickle of new stuff

G'day Guys, Am looking forward to the Pioneer cars, they should be something very, very nice.... Have got my Mazda 787B on pre-order from Cincy, should be a neato model as well, for whatever reason there have been a lot of enthusiasts wanting this model for sometime now (frustrated Wankel/slot car f...

Re: 'Slotcar of the Decade'

NSR PORSCHE 917K.... ....Just ran some break-in laps with our new Piper car, absolutely awesome, goes like the clappers, great finish, a real thoroughbred, easily the benchmark for a performance slot car! I agree with Rob Re: Slot.it. Porsche 956/962, an absolutely stellar series of models, I love t...

Re: Cars - What have you bought/what are you buying?

On Special at ARMCHAIR RACER are a heap of Spirit cars...

....I just ordered the 635 Jagermeister BMW and the "Kamei" Golf....

....They probably wont work that well out of the box, but they should be nice things!

...Price, $59AUD.

Re: HPI RACING R32 NISSAN Skyline GT-R

Hi Adrian,

I checked Top Slots 'n Trains today, they only have the Cherry Red one in stock at the moment, but the White, Silver and Grey versions are on back order...

....lets hope they arent a flash in the pan (honestly couldnt see that happening).

HPI RACING R32 NISSAN Skyline GT-R

....G'day Guys, Thought I'd share this with you, it kind of blew me away this morning! I noticed these on my good friend Darrens Top Slots 'n Trains site some weeks back, was a little interested in them as HPI are a pretty well known firm in the R/C industry. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v176/O...

Re: Slotcar of the year

G'day Phil, I'd hesitate to put the little Sloter Lola 290 in as slot car of the year.... ....They have been out awhile now, I managed to collect all of them early on (along with the Ferrari 312 releases including white race versions of both). I found them mediocre at best (remember I run mag only o...
