Wixle Front Ends ?

Hi Phil,
I was just looking through your scratchbuilds and have a question about your Wixle front ends???

Where do you get your collars with set screws to enable independent rotation of the front wheels?

Are they custom made? , Or as that annoying advert used to say "Where do you get it?"

I am looking forward to modifying a few front ends to match...

These are the little johnies that I use. They are available from the local R/C shop (Budget Hobbies). 3/32 id is available but because they are a little bulkier I use the 1/16th id and bore them out to 3/32. I then have to shorten the grub screw a bit. This is done by screwing it through a piece of tapped brass flat. I screw it out the other side the amount I want to lose and cut it off with a dremel cut off disc.

I have machined the 3/32" Dubro collars down on the lathe. A little tricky to do but theyare narrower and lighter.
