Glen's new cars (part 1)

Post by wwwace »

Hi all,
A long time in the making but finally finished : Two new cars with Kyosho Mini-Z Body Sets on purpose built Plafit 1700 Super24 Chassis.

As the 935 has a relative short wheelbase, the chassis has to reflect this and it becomes a little tight in the front. Reversed axle bases and bearing holders as well as a short Sakatsu guide solves this problem. A carbon front axle and the new adjustable twin traction magnet system has been used on this chassis. Large 22mm dia. rear wheels and 17mm fronts give the 935 its awesome looks. Hope you like it Glen ? It should be the perfect running mate for your Martini 935......

There is a lot of room underneath the Kyosho Mini-Z Ferrari Enzo body and the chassis can be nicely streched out. Drilled 21mm Racing Wheels with the Kyosho hubs used as inserts plus some aluminum break discs from Sakatsu give the Enzo a good appearance. However I hate that black gloss paint. Even using white cotten gloves during all car assembly did result in one large fingerprint on the back of the car. Shocking !
Anyway, both cars will have their track test tonight at the Coomera track. After that is is over to their new owner.

Cheers
Werner
